Because the only thing better than a boat cruise at night is a boat cruise at night under the Casino de Lac-Leamy world-class international fireworks competition, complete with musical accompaniment.

• Tickets will be available to surrounding districts as of April 1st, so don't miss out!

A few things to remember:

• The boat leaves from the dock at 1 Canal Lane, Ottawa, (between Parliament and the Chateau Laurier), August 12 so arrive by 7pm.

• There is no parking at the boat launch site, so consider the municipal lot at City Hall off Elgin, and car pooling is encouraged.  It is a 20 minute walk from City Hall so ensure you leave enough time.

• There will be some finger foods, but arrive fed because we are not serving dinner.

• Cash bar and washrooms are available.

• All weather event!  There is no rain date.

• Dress is summer business casual, such as polo shirts and sundresses, but you're on the water, so she may want a wrap if it's windy.

• We can't control the Casino de Lac Leamy International Fireworks Festival, so their decisions are out of our hands.

• We will have a list so just give your name when you arrive.
